Mixing
Consoles:Soundcraft, hands down, builds the finest mix consoles we have ever used. In our concert systems, we use Series Five consoles for both FOH and Monitor applications. The Series Five is the most versatile and best sounding console in the pro audio genre today. If the Series Five is just out of reach financially, the Soundcraft Series Four is the best of the more affordable large format, tour level consoles, offering most of the features of it's big brother, The Series Five. For club applications, there's none better than the Spirit by Soundcraft Live Eight, offering 8 subs, 6 aux's and 40 inputs for under $9,000.00.
Microphones: Audix is truly one of the great finds in
pro audio. They offer everything from high-end, large and small
diaphragm vocal and instrument condensers, to bulletproof, great
sounding affordable microphones. We use extensively, the model
CX111, a high-end rock n roll overhead mic and orchestra
region mic.
We absolutely swear by the
"D" 
Series instrument mics for drums, percussion,
brass instruments, and guitar amps. For vocals, the Audix VX10 
vocal
condenser is truly "King Of The Hill", offering exceptionally
smooth response and high intelligibility. One of our personal
favorites is the ADX90 rack-tom, rim-mount condenser mic...great
sounding, easy to mouunt, and for under $125.00.
ATA Flight Cases & Racks:Grayfield is a world class manufacturer of high quality ATA rated equipment cases and racks. Standard or custum cases and racks all include recessed quality hardware and premium wheels. Many cool colors available.
Microphone
Stands:
We use exclusively Atlas microphone stands for all our concert and special event applications. They are extremely rugged, very nice looking for even the most demanding situations, and fairly easy on the checkbook.
Atlas mic stands are available in both tripod (with locking bases---no more limp-stand syndrome) and round base. One of our favorite Atlas pieces, are the Atlas quick-lock mic stand to mic clip adaptors, cutting concert microphone placement time by 75%.
Horizon carries a broad variety of wire and cable products which are used by concert touring sound companies, theaters, musicians, and recording studios. Cables (snakes, instrument, mic, insert, "y"), Bulk Wire, Interface Devices (DI, press boxes,splitters), Connectors, and Contractor Products.
